Welsh Air Quality – ProAcumen gathers the data

Netcen, a UK leader in environmental professional and technical services - part of a major UK plc and with a staff of over 130 - recently won the contract to monitor and report on Air Quality in Wales. The contract for the Welsh Assembly involves gathering data from a range of both fully automated and sampler-based monitoring locations.

In some instances, automatic data collection is not possible. Netcen asked ProAcumen to develop a secure web-based system whereby registered professionals can supply data manually and via file-upload.

Gathering data on many different parameters and from several hundred sites across 20 Local Authorities, the system includes full workflow functionality for auditing and integration with other systems.

Paul Willis, Principal Air Quality Consultant at Netcen said:

"We are extremely pleased with the system ProAcumen Ltd developed for us. Working as partners rather than just suppliers, they met all deadlines and produced a scaleable and reliable solution."
